Seasons all have their own special characteristics, but nothing transforms the landscape more than the snow in Winter.
I find the I use black and white predominantly for Winter, concentrating on form and texture. There is very little colour any way. I love the bleakness of winter. The landscapes can be either crisp and clear or foggy and muted.
Unlike any other season, Winter allows us to witness the evidence of time. The tyres tracks of the roads, footprints on the paths and the bird prints on the posts.
